Sean Whittaker has been passionate about magic and the performing arts from a young age. In 2022, he began adapting his performances for haunted attractions, combining magic, psychology, and horror to create immersive entertainment for haunted house lineups. He later earned a full-time Theatre Diploma from Douglas College in 2023.
His early professional work included close-up and mingling magic for corporate events, restaurants, and private functions. His first haunted attraction role was in Homestead, where he performed as a lead character: a mad scientist. This experience helped shape his understanding of story development, guest interaction, and the psychology behind effective scares.
Today, Sean continues developing his haunt character, Mr Tricks, while creating new concepts and interactive experiences for haunted attractions throughout the Greater Vancouver area.
